Games Club of Maryland - Brunswick Have Fun, Learn, Share, Grow, Play Come join us at Games Club of Maryland's Brunswick location.

This is a new location for Games Club of Maryland, which started in the spring of 2005.

We play a mix of light-hearted games (like Guillotine, Chez Geek, Munchkin, Apples to Apples, and Give Me the Brain) and more strategic board games (like Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Carcassone, and Citadels). Current sessions are hosted by Karl Musser. Feel free to take a peek at the available game library.

Sessions are currently held at the Beans in the Belfry coffeehouse located at 122 W. Potomac St., Brunswick, MD from 1-7 pm on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

Directions From Maryland: Take I-270 or I-70 west to Frederick. Take US 340 West to Route 17 (exit will say Brunswick). Take Route 17 south - straight at the traffic circle. Turn right at the 1st light which is Petersville Rd. (staying on Route 17). This will take you into downtown Brunswick. You will come to another traffic circle, go 3/4ths of the way around the circle to A St. and follow the sign for the Marc train station. The next light is Potomac St., turn right and Beans in the Belfry will be a few blocks ahead on your left. From Northern Virginia: Take Rt. 7 or the Dulles Tollroad/Greenway west to Leesburg. Take US 15 North. Shortly after you cross the Potomac and pass the Point of Rocks exit look for Route 464. There will be a sign that says Brunswick. Take 464 west to Brunswick. When you get to the traffic light turn right onto Souder Rd. and take this to the next traffic light. Turn left onto Petersville Rd. (Route 17) and from there follow the directions above.

Once a year I host a big Games Day co-sponsered by the City of Brunswick.

Monocacy Gamers hosts gaming sessions in Frederick on the 2nd Saturday of every month at the Roy Rodgers at Route 26 and Monocacy Blvd from 1:30 to 6pm. They also meet in Brunswick at the Betheny House (on 1st Ave. at B St.) the 1st Saturday of the month (although not every month, join their yahoogroup to get announcements).

Games Club of Maryland has lots of other locations as well, the closest of which is in Middletown.
